Boring but important rules:
Winning combinations from 2017/8 in classes 1-3 will not be able to take part in the class they won or any classes prior to that class. They will be allowed to enter the next classes. E.G. Class 3 (60cm) winning combination will be not be allowed to enter classes 1-3 but will be allowed to enter classes 4-6. This does not effect clear rounds which is open to everyone.
Two phase jumping. All clear rounds will jump a shortened jump off course. In the event of a low number of clear rounds riders with faults may be required to also jump the jump off course.
Points to be awarded in a maximum of two consecutive classes only. If placed in more than two classes points will be awarded based on the highest consecutive placings.
Classes 1 and 2 are designed for the very novice or nervous combinations. We will allow combinations entering class 1 to progress to class 3 but they will not be allowed to enter class 1 once they have placed in the top 25% in class 3.
No horses/ponies under 4 years old.
All under 18's must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
